Tappity-tap-tap-tap
Hi. Remember me? I pop up from behind my computer every few months, go have a few drinks with friends, then see my shadow and get scared and dive back into my hidey-hole.
Currently I'm:
- Building 2 client sites entirely in CSS (that's me, only about 3 years behind the curve!)
- Customizing a Wordpress theme and teaching the same client about blogging
- Designing a new logo, print collateral and website for another client (for whom I'll probably be ghostblogging)
- (Is ghostblogging even a word? It sounds like one of those stupid terms you heard people tossing around in South Park circa 1998...)
- Writing a proposal for a third client involving not web design but spreadsheets and pricing models and workflow diagrams (oh my!)
And last week I got to explain Facebook, Gmail, Yahoo Groups and Skype to my 78-year-old father.
I hate computers.
Everything else: pretty OK. I'm cooking a lot (made ginger-pear-squash soup last night) and exercising more (and watching Soul Train reruns while on the treadmill - Don Cornelius isn't nearly as silky-smooth as I'd remembered him). I finished the Accutane a few weeks ago and my skin is a lot better though it still needs work; in a few months I get to enter the exciting world of laser treatments and chemical peels. Saturday night
allartburns and I celebrated 8 years of holy-crap-that-'s-a-long-time-to-be-toge ther. And I'm making plans for Frostburn (yes, yes, winter camping, we're nuts, move along now) and a possible party in the spring. I'm generally feeling pretty creative and happy.
